美国University of Notre Dame 应用计算与数学统计系胡钡（Bei Hu）教授， 应邀于6月2日-14日来我校访问，为师生做学术报告。

报告摘要：
In this talk, we shall discuss recent progress on the tumors modeled as a Partial Differential Equation free boundary problem. Results from modeling, asymptotic stability with respect to tumor aggressiveness parameter shall be presented. This impact from the time-delay should also be discussed.
报告人简介：
Bei Hu 教授在美国University of Notre Dame任职，先后师从国内外偏微分方程领域的专家姜礼尚教授和A. Friedman教授，多年来从事偏微分方程理论及其应用研究，尤其在抛物方程的爆破理论，生物医学中的自由边值问题的理论和数值以及具有金融背景的自由边界问题数值解的收敛性等研究领域中取得了丰富的研究成果，在J. Differential Equations, Siam J. Math. Anal., Siam J. Appl. Math., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., Numer. Math., Journal of Scientific Computing, Mathematical Models and Method in Applied Sciences, Transactions of American Mathematical Society, Nonlinear Analysis等国际权威期刊上发表高水平论文100余篇，出版专著两部，被引总数达1174次。Bei Hu 教授历任University of Notre Dame数学系主任、理学院副院长等职，现任《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-Series B》以及《Nonlinear Analysis-Real World Application》编委，是国内外知名的华人数学家。
