报告摘要:
I will go over the classical theory of existence and regularity of a solution of the phase transition problem established by Luis A. Caffarelli in this lecture and briefly touch the various generalizations. For a uniformly elliptic equation,the emphasis will be put on the monotonicity formula and method of continuity in the proof, while for a degenerate equation, the properties of a positive solution over a Lipschitz domain or a star-like domain will be the key part.
