Abstract:
We will talk about the inverse scattering transform for integrable equations. Riemann-Hilbert problems associated with Lax pairs are the key technique, and soliton solutions correspond to the case where an identity jump matrix is taken. An application will be presented for a coupled modified Korteweg-de Vries equation.
报告人简介：
马文秀教授1982年毕业中国科技大学数学系，获学士学位；于1990年获得中国科学院计算中心博士学位；1990年至1992年于复旦大学数学系从事博士后研究工作，导师为谷超豪院士和胡和生院士。1994年至1997年于德国University of Paderborn任洪堡学者。1992年至2001年先后在复旦大学、英国University of Manchester、City University of Hong Kong工作，2002年至今任职于美国University of south Florida。主要研究可积系统、孤子理论、正交多项式、符号计算。马文秀教授近5年以第一作者或通讯作者身份发表SCI热点论文或高被引论文38篇。马文秀教授去年荣获 2018 Outstanding Faculty Award of University of South Florida, 以及 2018 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award。
